I am a girl who is unabashedly girly and believes in dressing up for any and every occassion. There isn’t a shade of pink or a speck of glitter I would turn away. I am a born and bred Texan with a severe case of wanderlust. I am almost two years into recovery from depression, anxiety and an eating disorder. I like to share my struggles because it colors the way I see the world and I have found that it is incredibly helpful and rewarding to connect with other people who are suffering. I strive each and every day to be authentic.
I am newly married to my husband, David, after seven years of dating and we are getting ready to move from Dallas to Seattle with our two terriers, Dixie and Wally. I have baby fever, puppy fever, a shopping addiction, and a strong tendency towards hoarding… especially if it sparkles I live to snuggle and travel.
Buckets and Bunches is my blog. The name comes from my dear friend, who loves things and people buckets and bunches worth. It is where I share my inspiration, my day-to-day trials and tribulations, and other loves, which include but are not limited to, fashion, design, graphics, animals. Whimsy and glamor, love and life, style and design. Welcome, settle right in, I can’t wait to meet you.
