Ok friends, here is my confession…for all of the style I dream about, post about, and claim to have on occasion, this summer has been an exception.  I left my job in retail and in this intermission I am largely a homebody.  David is gone four days out of the week and with no one but the dogs to impress most days, my color blocking experiments have been limited to yoga pants paired with a kelly green Northeastern University t-shirt over a hot pink tank. I have taken the messy bun to a whole new level entitled “messy bun, day three, how far will you take me, beloved dry shampoo?”  Now, this will no longer do.  My neighbors must be starting to think I am a hobo, and not in the boho-chic sense.  I am vowing, right now, to up the ante.  Yes, my loves, I might even start to leave the house to walk the dogs with pride as opposed to how I do it now, which involves creeping slowly to the edge of the driveway to make sure there are no witnesses to this walking disaster. So, here are some options for the ideal summer outfit, and I am off to my closet to don actual clothes!
